This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Vehicle Tracker collects, why it is collected and what rights you have. It applies to the website and to the mobile application.
Account data: name, email address, phone number, country, city and your preferences (distance units, interface language). Service data: vehicles, maintenance records, fuel entries, documents, consumables, marketplace listings and promotions you create. Technical data: session identifiers, API tokens, your IP address (used only for login rate limiting) and the basic logs needed to keep the service secure.
To provide the service you asked for — storing your garage, showing statistics and sending reminders for expiring documents and due maintenance. To secure your account: passwords are stored hashed, sessions expire automatically and repeated failed logins are throttled. To show the interface in the language and units you chose.
We process your data on the basis of the contract formed when you create an account and, where the law requires it, your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your account.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. It is processed only by the operator and by the hosting provider that stores it, and is disclosed to anyone else only where we are required by law to do so.
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. When the account is deleted, the records connected to it — vehicles, maintenance, fuel, documents and listings — are removed together with it.
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions are bound to your browser and expire automatically, every form is protected against CSRF and every database query uses prepared statements. No method of transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
You may ask for a copy of your personal data, correct it, or have it deleted at any time. Write to noreply@vehicles.peychoslavov.com and we will respond promptly.
The site uses a single session cookie (VTSESSID) that keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
